Reconnected with my love of kung fu films the other night - this is a clip from one of my favourites, The Prodigal Son. Fished out the dvd and was transported away from everyday life to somewhere magical…that’s what I love about these type of films. If you get a chance, check out The Prodigal Son, it’s a really special film. Love the choreography. The wing chun is like a cross between martial arts and ballet.
Watched Wierd Science last night for the first time since I was like 15. Never noticed back then that the cast includes a young Robert Downey (not with the ‘Jr’ in the credits). Here he is on the right, as one of the jocks who pick on our dweeby protagonists.
